Any body heard of this? Someone mentioned it a couple days ago as a joke and then I started thinking. Like permanently mount the laptop on the dash somewhere, and cut out a piece of the dash in it so that when it's closed you can't tell anything and have it start up when the car starts up/when you decide to turn it on, essentially have it constantly hooked up to MS or what have you. Also "permanent" meaning semi-permanent as everyone knows how flaky some laptops can be. Any help on this would be nice

Some carputers can be pretty crazy and cool. Like a mini computer in the glove box and a screen mounted somewere in the console

Mark (therealmark) has a carputer and he is right up there somewhere. Touchscreen and everything too I think.
