I know this is on here, but I haven't found it yet!
What o2 is cheapest/best for MS? Will a GM 0 258 007 206 work?
Noob question--Sorry!
You need a controller and a sensor. You can get a JAW for $50 unassembled and the sensor is about 55. Stay away from Innovate products.

Got in on the group buy for the assembled jaw.
Is there a list of appropriate O2 sensors for MS somewhere?

You need a Bosch LSU sensor. Same one LC-1 uses, there are a number of places you can get them, search around, ask around, maybe you'll get lcky and find it cheap, the next place to look is amazon.

PLX devices : been using the PLX SM-AFR for a month now with MS - good results so far. No mucking around calibrating like I was with Innovate.

Duh, I should have looked at the 14point7 site!
I'll read up some more. I'm sure I can come up with more stupid questions.
Oh, here's one. I have an '83 model with LH 1 or some such nonsense. I currently plan on just doing fuel only. Can I just get a signal from the "-" side of the coil on those? Are they different than the later hall effect units in LH2.2? I saw the write up for the later models on the diy site.

I've been very pleased with my Zeitronix ZT-2.
The JAW is cheap though, cheap is good.

When you're ready to do spark then you might have to change out your distributor for a hall sensor one from an LH2.2 car, if yours doesn't already use one.
