And one missing a wheel for lightweighting. jk

Had The Purple forever, but I crunched it up back in August and I've been needing a parts car to fix it. I just scored this running and driving black one for $800 and I drug it home Monday night. Now I get to rip it to shreds!! lol.

BTW, The Purple car is very shiny because I washed, waxed and Rain-Xed it about 5 times from April to August. It's been sitting for awhile now but it still beads water... Hahaha.

The interior is actually in pretty good shape. no tears in the seats and the dash is all in okay shape with very little cracks and broken stuff here and there. Standard door panel delamination (or whatever you'd call it) and it's pretty dirty, but it's kind of the same color as The Purple's interior, so I can use pieces out if it if I ever need any. First things that are going in The Purple are the leather shift and e-brake boots!! It has the third row seat, too, just like The Purple.

It's puking oil, ATF and anti-freeze, (and it looks like the previous owner jumped the car and bottomed out the suspension a few times) so it's not a driver and never will be, but it'll make the perfect parts car!

And in all technicalness, it's actually a V90! Can't beat that with a stick.

Time to get cracking on fixing The Purple and getting her back on the road!

What color is the interior? What parts do you need off of the black wagon? :oogle:

Lmao. Okay, Shawn, what are you looking for?? Hahahaha.

The interior is gray or that light tan, I can't remember. Maybe it's kinda two tone gray and light tan. Teh Purple is the light tan color all over. I'll be doing a bunch of work on the cars tomorrow, so I'll get some better pictures and post them here.

So far I need the left rear lower control arm and attachment bolts, the passenger side motor mount and brackets, maybe the left ball joint, (which is nearly new on the parts car) and the transmission dipstick and tube.

So what do you need? I might be able to spare some stuff. My dad wants to get my mom a 965 and if he does, he wants to buy half of the parts car from me for himself. If that happens, I'm not allowed to part the car out... Which was my plan... Part the thing out then take the chassis and turn it into a racecar. But anyway, I can probably get away with ganking some stuff if it's nothing crazy.

Nice buy. Hooray for parts cars. Good luck getting The Purple back on the road again.

That sure is a sweet color.

Thanks, Eli! I'm going to thrash on it this weekend. (My weekends are Sundays and Mondays...) We'll see if I can't get it back on the road by Tuesday.

I like the color, too! I still have about 2/3 of a quart of paint left from when I did my fender, so this time around I'm going to repaint the hood after I fix the bullet holes left by the sign I hit, and repaint the driver's side fender after I fix the dent and gouges left by some kids who were making out on it at a party I went to a few months ago. I also have a new coil for it, and that will hopefully fix the misfire and it'll stop throwing codes, and the e-brake cable on the parts car is good, so I can fix my e-brake and it'll pass inspection! Woo! So it'll not only be fixed, but it'll look nicer and drive nicer when I'm done with it!

I may or may not be parting the parts car out. It all depends on if my dad gets a 960 for my mom. If he doesn't, the car is being stripped to a shell. I'll definitely be selling parts on here if I end up parting it out. It's a perfect car, it's just been driven hard and generally trashed. Poor thing.

Pete.
