First of all, thanks martyagt4 for being an awesome seller!! Great guy to deal with. I can't say thank you enough. He did tons of work to help me out with the whole border crossing (which went horribly wrong in the end - but was not any of our faults, I just got wrong information over the phone from the US side). Here's the ad for anyone who doesn't know car: http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=149653&highlight=Ohio. After a 19hr day of driving and negotiating with customs, she's home!

She's already getting spoiled with some more goodies. Future plans are K or H cam, possibly new full exhaust (haven't checked out the condition of the turbo exhaust on it right now - might have a small leak), nothing too huge. Not sure about a manual swap as my bro will mostly be driving this one for now and he's never touched a car with more than two pedals. Few other minor things needs to be done. Idles very high when it's warm (only in park or neutral), speedo is very optimistic, and the check engine light came on on the drive home. Also planning on fixing the minor rust soon as well. Already have some 18" wheels on the way.
Now I will officially be broke... always. Owning one volvo and being a student was tough enough, now two:-(. I need some willpower!

I think that steering wheel needs to go back on the Outrun arcade game.

Agreed! Now all I need is to get the 18s on to take advantage of the suspension.
The sidewall flex with the 14s is horrible:omg:

Feels like it. It was a little small at first, but it great for highway driving. Nice and responsive.

Everything. Accused of fraud, not having the papers there (we were told to send them to the wrong place), they searched through all the spare parts in the back, they checked the VINs on the block to see if it was the original engine. We almost had to leave the car in the states and come back for it when everything got cleared.
yeah i'm curious to as to the seats are they as comfy as they look?

those look like the e-bay special seats. like $300 for a pair, I've got a set in the living room as video game chairs. They are pretty comfortable, maybe 25# per seat?

Jesus.
I got pretty lucky I guess.
I had an undercover agent strike up a conversation with me at US customs. It was actually pretty funny, because he asked me all the questions in the exact same order as the uniformed officer, and he was a terrible actor whose story kept changing.
I too had a bit of an issue with all the spares in the back of my car, but again, they were Canadian so it wasn't too bad. On the US side I just handed them the original title, they stamped it, and away I went. I wonder if BC on the whole just imports a lot more US cars into Canada than Ontario and therefore it's more standard procedure.
Anyways, glad you got it in! Now comes the fun job of passing inspection... :-P

They're a lot better than I expected. Took 8hrs to drive back (not including the border) and I never felt fatigued or uncomfortable.
They're Jegs seats says the PO.

Yeah they get pretty ridiculous with importing cars. They kept throwing up accusations and I kept knocking them down.
In all fairness though, the canadian border let us import it without the original ownership paper (which they lost), so that was pretty nice of them.
