 Love the car dude, especially the look you get from the R wheels. Speaking of that, did you have to have special adapters made to fit those wheel on b/c I've been thinking of doing something like that? I'd love to see some more pics of the car.

i posted a few more picts on those links. I also put one up of my yellow 242. The wheels bolt right up with 1/4 inch spacers that come from any aftermarket wheel place. They rub a little turning into a streep driveway.

I hope that's a typo, because you're losing over 1.25" in track width if you really are using 1/4" spacers for those wheels. No wonder they rub. The offset difference is 0.92" per corner.

WOW... That's the model I'm gonna use for my 245 project. I'll probably go for the T5R rims tho. Is that the original 240 black? I was thinking of painting mine T5R black. Is there a difference? Mine looks like crap right now w/ the original faded paint. That'll change.

I may have a line on another rack like that one. It needs refurbished though. The paint is original volvo black. If yours is faded i highly recommend having it buffed out before resorting to a repaint. That is, unless its beyond saving.

That truly is a gorgeous car! I have it on my desk top here at work and even the guys who usually give me a hard time about my obsession were oohing & aahing over it. 8)

Question? What type of springs did you use to lower it and did you modify them at all? IPD is simple & obvious but they just don't lower the car enough.

How is the ride and the performance of the KYB's?
