Seeing as how the last Volvo was rusted out so bad, I decided to scrap it. I had my eye on this car for a minute and after doing some dealing, a little convincing of the wife and getting my tax refund I picked this up this weekend.

It has dents all over it and a nice ding in the rear wheel, but it's holding air and seems to still be round. The car has a misfire on cyl. #4 and I think that's it. I plan on replacing the rotor, cap, plugs and wires along with an MSD ign. and that's about it for the time being. I can't wait to get it on the road and running right. I've been Volvo free for too long!

It's a misfire on cyl. #4 (at least that's what I'm getting from my OBD II scanner). I'm going to dig into it right now.

Nice looking ride. You'll have room for two or three more daughters.

I just ordered a set of IPD plugwires, Bosch platinum plugs, rotor and cap today. I figure that should take care of her. I pulled the old one off and it looks to be the original. Woohoo!

Nice looking T5. Is is AWD?

That interior looks like it will clean up a little bit. Does it have the child booseter rear armrest?

I have one with 450,000kms/280,000 miles still using the original wires. If you keep them clean, and the PCV doesn't blow oil all over them, they last.

Na, just FWD. It's kinda clean barring all the dents. The drivers side rear door had been repaired (poorly) at some point, but there isn't a bit of rust on it! The rear quarter wheel arch had been run into something also, but it aint too bad. All in all it's a good car. I'd say 7 out of 10, so far. I've yet to get it out and "stretch it's legs". It'll be a good DD, and it does have the child booster in the armrest. My 2 1/2 year old will have to gain 10 more pounds to ride in it, but that's what the minivan is for.:-P
