View Full Version : Best place for Turbobricks sticker.

.:Sven:.

Im thinking about ordering a turbobricks sticker, but am not sure where to put it. I thought about in the rear sail windows, but i have Mongoose alarm sticker in both sails and i think it would look too busy with another sticker in that place. I also thought about in the top-center of the rear window, and then i thought about putting it on the edge of the bonnet like on robs 242. If i got a bonnet one i would need a black sticker as the car is white, but for the windows should i get silver or white.
Thanks.

Bend over, and I'll show you where you can stick it! :-P

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Seriuosly I think it'd be cool on the front lip of the hood/bonnet or just under the license plate on the back.

^on my 940 : i know you said you have stickers on the sail windows already...
but either there or on the rear window, bottom corner or something.

also, is your car a 242? or is it a wagon or sedan...?

depending on the color and the location of the sticker on the the car it has been proven on a dyno to add anywhere from 7-13 hp

The best place is anywhere that stops a leak or keeps a piece from falling off.

I wanted to put mind centered at the top of the rear window on my wagon, but the wiper would hit it up there. So instead, I put mine on the back, lower corner of the driver's side rear-most window. I think it looks good, and I'll be balancing it out when I add my SCCA sticker to the corresponding passenger side window.

put it over your duct tape.
i threw mine on the lower right hand side on each side of the wagon, and the bottom of the glass behind the passenger windows on the 244

I have mine centered at the top of the rear window. However, I have the black ones, and I also tinted my windows after putting the sticker there, so it's kinda stealth/ninja mounted.

What's your control arm angle at that ride hight? Mine's equally as low, and it's still surprisingly driveable.
I measure 20 3/4 inch from the ground to middle edge of my wheel wells. Bump steer is bad, but i've seen worse. I did it for fun on my project car; I know it being that low isn't best for handling, but it's still fun:-P
I just run Chevy S-10 rear coils and Ford Ranger fronts, both chopped almost in half. I'm sure you're on a considerably less ghetto setup, but my setup works and it's really fun.

Lmao! Yup, that's me. Your friend spotted my TB sticker in one of my friend Kevin's pictures that we took yesterday when we went out on a little photoshoot. Your friend said to my friend Kevin that he had something that I would like to see, and sent my friend Kevin a picture of your rear window with your TB sticker on it. I was able to identify your car by just that picture alone... Hahahaha.

Me: "Is that a 1993-94 940 sedan??" My friend Kevin: "Hold on I'll ask.... Yes, it is. How could you tell that by only seeing the third brake light and part of the back window?!?" Me: "Dude, I don't even know. I guess I'm just a Volvo freak."

Then your friend sent a picture of your whole car and I knew I had seen it on here before and remembered it because it was so clean.

Small world, eh? lol.
