I'm gonna start the competition for most ghetto recognition on tbricks. While i've got lots of stuff that can compete, i think my sub-box is a pretty good candidate. While very ghetto, I'll have you know that this box actually works quite well and is very cost effective.

Just so yall know, the real ghetto part of klowd's car is his paint job. Its house paint, Vinyl I believe.
And the "bass tube" doesn't sound that great, I guess its not too bad but I also am not satisfied with a q-logic..

The underhood tie-downs have my vote for the most ghetto thing yet. Sure beats the hell out of my JB Welded front bumper.

ben should win for his paintjob underhood, its hoodrich. Bright baby blue and hideously bright yellow thats semi-opaque and didn't go on evently, plus a not-so-steady hand along the top IC groove, and some other stuff. :-P
Ricer.
My ghetto mods? Well, on the 850R that consists of a piece of 3/8" Napa fuel line instead of the right size stuff, and its hose clamped and loc-tited until I put on the RRFPR. Its so ghetto its crazy.
My 242's on the other hand, lets put it this way, 1 roll of ductape couldnt waterproof one of them....

In the pic below you can see.

The blue tie down strap. although it must be noted that my method of attaching the strap to the strut tower is not entirely ghetto.

Speaker wire(thanks to isaac) that is the ground and signal wiring going to my Air/Fuel gauge. The wiring is run out of the hood along the gap at the left side base of the windshield and in through the door underneath my dashmat.

A plastic T connector is missing from my windshield washer line, this was donated to Mike in the interest of figuring out the boost creep issues from his turboxs MBC.

Black nylon stocking ziptied to the end of my AMM for use as an air filter.

The power steering belt was removed when we tilted the ump over so it wasn't in the way of the IC to TB piping

A ziptie holding a piece of rubber hose to the outside of the IC piping so that the "motor mount" doesn't wear through and cause a boost leak.

My IC is held in place with ziptie's through the radiator and nothing else.

The radiator overflow container is now on the right side of the car. what you can't see is the multiple couplers i made out of old turbo oil feed and return lines for use with the water coolant lines for the watercooled T3 when I put it in

I do have gt style strut braces but they need to be painted.(thanks Angus)

The 740 turbo Fuel rail with 3bar fpr that was "massaged" in place with a piece of 4x4 and a large wrench. Now I have a stock na style fuel rail with a 4bar dodge daytona turbo fpr feeding some greentops(thanks Kenny)

The resistor pack without which the injectors wouldn't work. Although that bit of wiring as well as the relocating of the AMM was done rather nicely by my friend Ed.

The timing cover is no longer on after having discovered my belt was a tooth off(thanks Cliff and Isaac)

What you can't see in the pic are both of the fuel pumps I replaced in the parking lot of my apt complex in the middle of the night with only the light from a flashlight the night before I graduated from college(thanks to the 24hour autozone)
That's most of the ghetto things that make up my car.
Peace, Josh

I'm loving the intake with the coldstart injectors stuck into it. I'd like to see how its all plumbed to the gas supply. Looks good, makes my engine look really good. I had some non-emi wires that I wraped in aluminum tape and grounded to the engine. Looked terrible but it worked better then my new EMI suppression wires, wish I had a camera to show every one.

Hmmm, well i guess I'd better show off my ghetto lamp-cord AMM wires.
Also my BOV didn't come with a horn, and although you can't see it in that pic it's sporting the horn from my childhood bike:-) Oh, and not to mention a ricer paintjob;-)
