So I lucked out and picked up this super-badass set of 15x7 MSW's at the junkyard today. I got home and upon further inspection I noticed this on one of the wheels:

It looks like the caliper got loose and took out some chunks of the inner part of the wheel. Is this safe? Can it be repaired?

It looks a little worn but still useable.

I can't see what you're talking about.

I should've snapped a pic of one of the other wheels for reference. See the spots where the aluminum looks polished? Yeah, there's about 2-3 mm of material missing there.

looks too perfect for the caliper... Doesn't look dangerous yet.

take it some where (wheel / tire store), and make sure it can still be balanced (that it didnt take to much out of one side / part...), other then that, it appears fine from here...

If all your MSWs were to race, that one would probably be the fastest.

and finally, here's a close-up of what the other three look like. Just delicious caked on brake dust

I'm taking the wheels to a shop this week to get their opinion.
