Hai guys (and gal).
I'm picking up a sweet '90 245 in Portland, Oregon on May 14th before noon. I'll have the entire rest of the afternoon to screw around, and I'm staying in Seaside. I'll be leaving Portland the next day (May 15th) and driving to San Francisco, where I'll stay the night, the following day, and the following night (the night of May 15th, all day May 16th, and staying the night of the 16th). I'll be leaving on the 17th very early to drive back to Albuquerque, NM.
Here is the car in question:

Essentially, if you want to see/meet me, I'm down for a little bit of shens in either place. PM me.
*I know that the IPD garage sale is the 16th. My schedule is screwy because of work...

I wonder if Southwest will let me check my tools in as baggage?

I can bring my tools as long as I check them in!

you should consider staying until the 17th because of ipd
it would be ridiculous to be here that same weekend and completely miss out, amirite?

I so wish I could. I have to be back at work on the 19th at the latest. No way I can drive 1736 miles in one day. :(
I'll be up there in July for quite a while anyway.

nope! but its quite doable in two: leave early on the 17th, drive 900 miles, rest, drive the remaining distance on the 18th

oiy. I'll have to pass on that one. ;-) I am going to visit RSI and IPD while I'm there, though.
I'd much rather have a chance to rest for a little bit.
I'll be at Davis next year, as well as at the IPD garage sale.

Yes.
when?
I'm packed on the 16th, but the afternoon of the 15th, i'm down for hanging out with some fellow tbrickers
running up the Tam seems like a good idea.

Damn, so close to the IPD swap and you won't be able to be there.
You say you will be at Davis next year? That's a great idea.

I know. :-(
Yes, I will be coming to Davis. With only 5 tbers here in NM, I have to show somebody what I've done to it.

Alright guys, well it seems like most of you don't want to see me, but that's life I guess.
I bought a midrange point-and-shoot camera (10.3 Megapixels), so I could share my trip and car with those of you who care.

 They let me check a 140 brake booster, clutch fan, some 122 door handles and a blower motor from Albuquerque to Washington. You should be good, I am so jealous of your desert junkyards full of rust free cars.

Sorry, but with the RSI and IPD festivities the west coast volvo community has a full schedule.

Well, I've got a full craftsman tool set, a timing belt kit, a covercraft bra for the 240, and a chilton manual in the other suitcase.
See? But I'll be there 2 days before the shens at RSI/IPD!
Edit: I hope nobody reading this works as a baggage handler for Southwest.:ninja:
