MD: Spring help and meet up

Wondering if any MD people have a spring compressor and would be willing/able to meet up next week (mon-wed looks like the first non rainy days in a while) and help me put some new lower springs in my 244? I'll gladly host everyone and figure out something with grub/drinks for the help.

I have an angle grinder. It compresses springs into two pieces that make them easy to remove. You can get by w/o a spring compressor if you remove the top strut nut, then jack up the car, then wiggle the spring down over the lower perch so you can get the strut out from under the fender.

if you have some money in the bank to cover it, or a credit card, i'm pretty sure the local auto-part chain will rent you a spring compressor.

Pay for the replacement cost up-front and return it later for a full refund.

i did what towery said... except WITH spring compressors...

i picked em up at advance auto, i don't think they were more than $30
