OK all you PNW Turbobrick pervs, Friday May 22, be there or be square.
My freind and happy customer Allan Petersen, mangager of Apex Automotive in Beautiful Ballard is hosting a Open House to schmooze and hang out and tell war stories .
Alan built the car he co-drives in the loony Mexican open road rallies such as Carrera PanAmericana and Chihuahua Express.
(as in 137 mph in the 1967 Volvo 122 Amazon with oncoming traffic) Roadraces a Hillman Imp (1000cc and 10,000 rpm)
A real good guy.
Come by and have a beer and a weenie.

Hi All,
Time for another shop party at Apex Auto in Ballard. Last time it was a La Carrera Panamericana theme to show footage of our race in Mexico. It brought in quite a few cool old cars including 3 cars that participated. 3 Kegs went dry.... no food left on the grill after the first 2 hours. It was a good time!
This time I'd like to extend an invite to local ( and out of towners) that have newer rally rides (new as in not from the 60's) and others just interested in talking cars and such.
Question is, when? I was thinking of Fri May 22. After OR Trails rally.

Allrighty,
Friday May 22nd after 6pm... Free Beer and BBQ. I'll provide the 1st 100 Hot dogs and condiments. Last time the dogs were gone in a half hour so feel free to bring something else to toss on the grill as well. At least one decent Keg... maybe some crap beer to...
