I won something installing a A, or B, or K can in a N/A 8.7:1 CR B230F? or is a waste or money?
Any info in this? Or I should spend the money in other stuff?

Go with K and adjustable cam gear if you have manual trans.

I went from B (stock on my '76) to K and loved it, but by that time i've converted to 5SP manual. Never tried A.

Why is that your compression?

Waste of money? No
Any info on this? Plenty, just search
Spend the money on other stuff? Sure, but a cam is still a good step up.

You can't really go wrong with any of those. You'll want to pick up an adjustable gear though with the auto. I have a B cam in my auto, and while I can feel the difference... it would be better if I had the adj. gear to advance the timing. I have a K cam and adjustable gear coming next week, I'll let you know how that goes.

If you had a manual tranny, the K would be fine without the adjustable gear... I think PCH has it backwards...

Because originally was a B230FT, but the past owner killed the turbo, and convert it into a NA engine. And, no, is not an option install a turbo on that deathtrap.

I'd put the A or B in, whichever you can get your hands on. A might be better as it's slightly less aggressive than the B and you'll retain a maybe not noticeable amount of more low end torque off idle.

You might want to install a Cometic MLS headgasket (the 0.027" variety) to get back some compression. That gasket could buy you ~ 1/2 point of static compression.
