Well Ive made some progress on the yellow....
Rebuilt head
Transmission fixed
quad rounds with turbo grill
got a commando air dam
90+ seats F&R
cleaned up the interior
prolly more I cant think of
still needs a few things but its looking better, I havent even washed it. :lol:
Still needs:
momo steering wheel
tires installed
instruments diaganosed
OD wiring
I still need a flathood guys!
Lemme know what yall think..
Ill make a project thread eventually

The air dam really helps the appearence IMO, DLs never got them? so sad.

Last count was 8 here in Austin. 1/2 a Merkur, a real flathood, and 1/2 a 750 Sabre in Chicago. Good thing the wife is understanding...

Everyone is being stingy with the flathoods around here.
I've decided I'm going to trim my coffin hood to be flush with the single rounds and grille just so I don't have to deal with the stinginess. If it looks too weird, I'll just go search for a flat hood.
Also, love the yellow.

The car looks way better than before! You just need to score some old-school chrome mirrors (or at least a passenger side one to match). I think the chrome mirrors look great though, considering all the other chrome trim bits on the car. I think you can find them on 75-78 240s...

Generally speaking, for the USA/Canadian market:
Most 260s (including 262, 262c [Bertone], 264 & 265) came with power windows.
Most stock 240s (i.e., DL) from '75 - '90 came with manual. '91 - '93 240s were usually equipped with power windows.
Most stock GLs, GLTs and Turbos (all model years '76 - '89) came with power windows.
Early 240 Diesels were usually power, later model years were usually manual.
Canadian models were a mixed bag. It is common to find GLs with manual windows
