...shafts. :) It's an easy solution to plugging the holes for the balance shafts. I couldn't just push in a couple of freeze plugs in the oil return holes because the return holes in my engine are 16.2mm in diameter. The engineshop here doesn't have that size and couldn't get them.

I finished this today; blocks to block off the oil feed and oil return for the balance shafts, which will not find their way back to this engine. I made them from the housings of the balanceshafts. Those housings are cast so they can fit both sides of the engines, so they drill the holes for the oil feed and return on one side of the housing but leave them closed on the other side. So I cut the closed side off of the housing, made a plate to press it nice and firmly to the engine, put some O-rings in and bolted them to my engine.

Nice but why not just weld the holes? That's what I've done on several b234. Ya know that's a good idea for the right side because you can pull a turnk feed from there. Hmm toi late for me now. I drilled and tapped my stock turbo location
