aprove or disaprove? Does the spoiler from an e30 look right on my 240?

possibly the start of a spoiler related thread. Cant find much through search. Nabed the spoiler of a 325 e30 that was driven around on deflated rear tyres in a mud pit until it died. noticed the boots were the same shape and size :)

Looks alright. Just paint it silver and it might look a bit better.

Looks better than most spoilers I see on 240s...however I don't think any spoiler really looks good on a 240

I think spoilers work well on a 240, maybe a small lip spoiler would be better though? just something to finish off the boot imo. And the deep gloss black is the same colour as the wheels, I tried it in silver and it looks very tacky.

sweet! I think that works well. Is it of an e30? I found the boots to be the same width, only difrence bieng an e30 doesnt have a shoulder line.

It looks e36 not e30. The e30 wing is sharp and angular not so round. I don't think it fits, sorry.

Looks good, I would make a couple brackets to get it a half inch or so higher and to make it parallel with the trunk.

right, I think it needs a wing in black of some sort on there. But I dont really like the e30 wing enough its a little too big. A small lip spoiler is on the way that wil hopefully be more suited and more subtle. Cheers for the comments

Well, I was writing from my perspective...in the fact that the Firebird wing always seemed too wide on a 240, imo(sorry, Chino:-(). A bit too narrow is always better than a bit too wide...that's just how I see it.:e-shrug:
