Ok first I tried search but couldn't find what I wanted and search term's didn't help.

Is there anything better to use for an upper strut mount then OEM like a metal setup like these CLICK (http://www.kaplhenke.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=75&Itemid=32) but instead of coil overs using regular Bil HD's+lower springs.

You can use the Kaplhenke plates with regular struts. You just don't get as much adjustment due to the wide upper spring perch. Noltec was selling upper plates that also work with the stock strut. Same thing though. You lose adjustment because of the stock upper spring perch.

If you have the funds, just get the coilovers. You will like them a lot better anyway.
