I have a 245 dl wagon that did not come with a factory radio. My question is...... Is there a radio wiring harness installed on the car or am I going to have to wire the my new radio myself? I have seen cars that have the factory wiring already in place even though the option was never installed on the car. I hope this is the case on my wagon.

pull the facia off and have a look. running new wires is easy enough anyway, pull power/ground/accessories from the cluster if needed. only PITA is running the wires into the doors, but no biggie really, just time consuming

If it's there the connector should be behind the driverside kick panel:

If you look at the fuse box cover it shows you where the radio was connected. You need one constant B+ one switched B+ and ground the radio to one of the bolts holding the bottom of the heater box, or to one of the ground screws under the center trim. Running wires is pretty easy, you just have to decide where you want to put the rear speakers, in the small panels by the rear seats, or in the bottom of the rear door.

I am going to use 6x9s in boxes for the rear speakers... One can only rock so hard with 4.25.
