Hi all

Just finished MS'ing my car what a great feeling that is, started first pop Using maps found on the forum, fantastic results. Quick question.. I got a NB sensor, but I can't for the live of me get it to read a constant voltage anywhere near ~.5 volts its either pegged at .99 or .06. I've tried the narrowband tuning guide here but MST3K does not like the data logs i make, and using MLV and VE analyser only makes the fuel map richer and richer, it sending me crazy.

Auto tune in Megatune2.25p3 aslo just makes the table richer and richer to the point of talepipe black smoke, and no power any where.

Any idea's ?

..and yes I've just ordered a wideband controller and sensor.. just can't keep using half a tank of gas every 100km's, till it get here.

can't post attachments so can email's Msq if you want.

Running

MSII v3.0 PCB
MS2Extra Rel 2.1.0p

Everything elses is found on a stock car. (91 940 turbo)

Maybe just run without an oxygen sensor until you get the WB. You could reload the original Map and maybe lean out the req_fuel value.

You're never gonna read at a stable constant voltage from an NB 02.

When the voltage is constantly switching between .99 and .06, that is stoich.

I have ran a few 2.2 versions and helped tune fuel only a MS2, but we ran with the O2 correcton off and had very good luck with the onscreen meter. Used it as a baseline for general VE table. You should be able to change the amount of correction in percent in megatune as well. Most my expereince is with V2.2 tho with the MS1 card.

cheers for the replys guys

I've got a few things sorted now, so I'm not running pig rich every where. Changed the maps to 'High res' so changes are not so dramatic now which makes things a fair bit eaiser.

I think the car is twice a fast by the old ass-o-meter, I'm doubting it but happy about the results
