Can anyone tell me if wheels off a '90's thunderbird will fit my '90 740? I can get some dirt cheap and they are the ones that resemble the '93 cobra r's.
Thanks

Looked a 90 Thunderbird up on Tirerack. Same bolt pattern, 5x108, but offset is going to be like a FWD Volvo--40mm... You'll need to adapt it but it will likely work, unless the wheels bang into the brakes, etc.

Thank you. Ive done alot of searching and it seems people use spacers to get to a more common bolt pattern. I might go this route since its going to be a cruiser.

Spacers correct the offset, adapters allow you to run different bolt patterns while also correcting the offset. Yes, you will need spacers to correct the offset of your Ford wheels which are 5x108 (Volvo bolt pattern) as stated above.
