wat have u done to the car?

and how does ur BOV work w/the LH? does ur car sometime just die in the traffic?

I have a vx cam, gear, timing is advanced 5 degrees, 3" exhaust no cat, ran a straight pipe for the 1/4 also vp fuel with 107 - 108 octane with 19.5 -20 psi, stage 3 clutch, and also stripped the interior except for my seat and ate up some **** ass honda

What is that front bumper from? Where did you get it and how much did you pay? Interested in more details about your performance mods...

I got the bumper form a local speed shop, crow city customs, it is made by erebuni and is ment for and 850 model. I took the top half of the bumper and the bumper frame so it would fit. I paid 300 for it.

you ran 13.9 and 20lbs with stock shortblock, intercooler, turbo, and no mods to the fuel system with an advanced cam? Did you run drag radials? What was your 60 foot? Mind posting some timeslips?

the 13.9 isnt that accurate, we did it with a stop watch. I beat my friends dakota r/t and he ran a 14.9. So i estimate around high 14s

If you haven't run at a track or don't have timeslips don't claim any times. People keep mentioning stopwatch timings. That's way behind a G tech in accuracy and we all know G-techs aren't accurate. Not trying to be a prick, just making a point.

By the way, unless your friends r/t is modded (as in a supercharger), he's not running 14's, probably really running 17's or 18's .

RT's usually run faster than 17's.

My friend with a 1999 5.2 automatic 4X4 Dakota ran a 15.7 bone stock, I was present @ NED to witness it. There were some modded (but not blown) RT's there running 14's and 15's depending on wheelspin.

There is a guy with a 2002 4.7 V8 5-speed manual 2wd supercharged dakota running low-mid 13's. Bell blower & chip, full exhaust, K&N etc. Again, I've witnessed this personally however of course I have no timeslips. His name is Mark, he's from Maine. Truck is silver.

Dakotas aren't as slow as some people think.

As for this 740, if you beat an RT then you're probably running high 14's / low 15's.

hmm they really that fast?

I beat R/T's all the time... about 80% of the time at the redlight... they're one of my favorites because they give me the most challenge.

Guess driver really is worth 100hp

but then my gearing is pretty good up to 45, that'd help eh?

I just looked on car and driver and they had a 1/4 mi test of 15.8 (I should have looked before I spouted off), so I guess they are/can be faster. I saw a guy running a extended cab r/t at the drags last year and he was running high 17's and 18's. Must of been a crappy driver. Hey if he was running 17's and should have been running 15's, then if I was running 15's does that mean I should have run 13's? J/k

Stock durango's run high 15's, stock dakota's run mid 15's, dakota RT's run low 15's / high 14's in my experience.

the slowest one that evening at NED ran a 15.4 @ 93 if memory serves right...

Screech.... How did you do 1/4 mile times w/ a stopwatch? How did you measure the 1/4 mile, w/ a long tape measure? I could take you w/ my wagon... :wink:

only 0-60 w/ stopwatch with my brother watching my speedo... i averaged a high 8 seconds but i doubt that is at all accurate, i'll be getting a g'tech to more accurately do this... but seriously tho, I really dont stress all too much on numbers...

as for the R/T... up until 40mph I usually am a whole car/half ahead because i usually take off first... i have no bog eh? and my first gear is so soooo short, i'm usually in my 2nd gear's best spot when the "competition" shifts into second and by then I'm ahead and the speed limit has been reached (i stop accel at 45 ususallly). sure this type of "racing" isnt exactly accurate but its fun. as for actuall "racing" if I was rolling and could start out in 2nd gear, it isnt exactly slow. My car's fun! I frigging cant wait till I put in the V15! whoop!
