This thing was amazing! 97k! Excuse the first photo it's really not two-tone. Had a VCOA sticker but wasn't able to speak with the guy who owns it. Anyone know more info on it, was seen in Chapel Hill, NC

Thats what I was excited about too. I just might need to find an 8 track player for my 142.

Very nice...but mine was better.
68,000 genuine miles.
White with red trim.

I do really like the early 164s,but sadly i had to sell mine to pay for my 142 restoration

I've seen the same 164. We both had to stop and talk when he saw my 142.
The owner says the car is 100% origional, paint, seats, everything.

Wow all original? Amazing! I'd say the seats actually were what impressed me the most, especially if they're original!

WOW!

I sorta would dig one of those in a subtle two tone... Like that colour and powder blue.
But not on that original car.

What's the fuel economy like?

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

I had 3 of them the first year I got into Volvos, a decent navy blue car with a stick, a faded maroon car that was automatic, and my final one, beautiful clean maroon car with maroon leather, auto also, that one died and would'nt restart.. From then on I stuck with 2, 7 and 940's, those 164's sure were some neat cars though.....

The owner says the car is 100% origional, paint, seats, everything.I saw your 142 at the Cary Volvo meet this summer, I was visiting from NY state, was driving my red 85 ZX car, that's a real pretty 142 you've got... Here's a pic I took of your car...

What's the fuel economy like?

The '73 that I had, maybe 18 mpg highway. With the M410. Granted, the car did have a problem with the fuel pressure regulator. Began flooding massively. Was gold/black. If it had been blue-green metallic/brown, I might've kept it and fixed it up...
