Car Show at cj's Shop in Alameda. The generous people at Perforce Software have allowed us to use their beautiful grass parking lot for a car show. This will be held the same day as the Park Street Car Show. The Park Street Car Show usually has 400+ cars. Our event is walking distance from the Park Street Car Show and will be cross promoted. This will give us an audience that is into cars, but would rarely see so many beautiful Volvos in one place. There will be a BBQ setup and adequate refrigeration, refreshments, hot dogs and hamburgers will be available.

This event will start around 9:00 and run until 4:00. Come on out for a relaxed day on the green. This event is very impromptu with no awards. We may have a raffle or some picnic events like a sack race. This is yet to be determined. Send in your suggestions!

Dunno on suggestions, but I'm gonna plan on rolling down in the 740. I gotta see about hooking up with Mark and that crew for the caravan down.

I talked with Mark over the weekend and he mentioned a caravan from Sac. Have you seen anything on the other boards yet? I forgot his SN, but he lives about 5 minutes from me! If ya stumble on something can you maybe throw up a link?

( like I will literally be 4 blocks away at AHS taking a test)

..and will this be at that little new coffee shop near kragen or your shop?

There should be plenty. It's directly across the street from my shop. Same parking lot just not on that side. I doubt enough will show up that we need that side of the lot.

We are fail. Alden's car lost the charging system in San Ardo last night. He opted to tow home where he has parts and tools. He is working on the car right now but he is 2+ hours from my house, then it's 2 to Alameda.

I don't think we will make it this time.

Pretty much Volvo only when it comes to working on cars, and really only 850/70 '94-'00. I know Cliff, he came to the show too. You can see some photos of the event on the club forum.
