I'm running MS2 spark & extra with the 60-2 lh2.4 flywheel and VR sensor, VAG coil on plugs with internal driver on a B234F+T engine and for the moment the stock 16V hi-Z injectors. I thought it might be the larger injectors I got so I swapped them over for the stock ones again, but that didn't help.
I have fuel and spark, but no start. When cranking it just backfires in the exhaust occasionally. Sometimes it tries to run and shoots to 400 rpm or something and just falls back again to cranking speed (230 rpm approximately). Is this a timing issue? I've tried cranking advance from 0 to 15 degrees, but that didn't help. Also, sometimes I think it tries to run backwards as the engine powered by the startermotor very suddenly stops during cranking. Is it possible I fouled the plugs during these starting attempts?
The settings I'm using for rpm stuff and timing are this:
Offset 0.00
Ignition input: Rising Edge
Spark out: going high
Trigger wheel setting
Teeth: 60
Missing: 2
tooth angle is 84.0.
