Vacum Source

I thought I read somewhere that M/S does not like to share the same vacuum/boost source as a boost gauge.

Did I imagine that? Can't find it on a search.

you can use it, you should build a map-bomb though. As handy as they are I really should start including them in my kits, but then its one more thing on top of everything else..

basically, go to lowes, get the smallest scrap piece of like 1.5 ID pvc, two caps, and two vacuum barbs (total cost out the door MAX $15, if you have to buy pvc sealant), and pvc glue if you don't have any. you want something that end to end is maybe 4 inches long, drill two holes, mount the vacuum barbs (side by side is probably the best), clean the shavings, glue the ends, let it sit, and then put it inline to the megasquirt. its a pulse-dampening device, will make your tune a *lot* more consistent.

and that way, it doesn't matter where on the intake manifold you hook the ms up to.

I have yet to do the map bomb, Maybe I should throw one in my car just for the hell of it, probably have everything laying around the house anyway.
