so theres this 850 turbo at the shop at school, year unknown, prolly a mid 90's. its got a blown headgasket and the job is half done with the head sittin in the back seat. the guy is askin 350 for it and all i really want is the turbo for the 245. is it possible to jus use everything from that car, or am i gonna have to buy a bunch of other sh!t?

you have to buy the other sh!t, a 5 cyl manifold does not bolt to a 4 cylinder.

Nope. Maybe a vdub guy owns it. As Matt said, you need the other sh!t from a redblock.

why not fix the car and have it as a registrable Daily driver?

well thats what it used to be. but dealing with all these money problems, i only can only go one way, boosted or straight daily. :(

You make no sense, would you be buying the 850 for $350? (just for the turbo) if so fix it and drive it. If you can afford the though of useless parts and spending, you might as well fix the car so you have something that you can legally drive.
