So yeah, here they are. My dad picked them up today and plans on getting started this weekend.

This is an old pic from when the end plates were made by hand, the new ones are lazer cut but the brace should look the same. I should have some better pictures in a few days. I will post them in this thread as soon as I get them.

Evan,
Have you made any braces for people with a V8? If so, I would like to see a picture. I'll try to get some measurments this weekend and see if it's even possible to clear the air filter of our carbed chevy 350.

Hey Evan, I may have a possible request for you. I'd love a set of plates that bolt on in all three spots, but the "tab" goes to the back of the car. Thinking this would make a sweet way to attach my engine limiter on the car side.

Havent made any to fit V8's yet... But my dad and I have always been open to working with people. If needed, we can always build another style for V8's.

Doug, I am not sure what you mean? Give me a few more details.

Evan that looks great, I may need some help with another brace soon, I just bought a custom header, not sure if my existing strut tower brace will still fit.

Let me know hot it goes ^^^ did you ever find a pedal assembly?

Doug, if you like, modify this in paint/photoshop and send it back to me. http://home.comcast.net/~evansargent/plate.bmp I am still curious as to what you mean.

Doug, get a set of the GT reinforcement plates. I'm pretty sure they're a round plate with holes for the three studs out of the strut mount.

Evan, I think he meant that he wanted a plate with a piece extending around to the 3rd stud on the strut mount, like the 240 cherry turbos brace.

the gt plates mount between the upper strut mount and the strut tower. they do not mount on top of the tower

Doesent mean they cant mount on top of the tower. The holes are still in the same places.

Yep, pretty much. My laptop with PS ... well its power supply burned up so Ill have to PS it for you tomorrow. Basicly, I want the ear to extend off the third (fixed) bolt hole and over hang the strut tower say.. about 3" I guess. Its hard to describe, but will make total sense when I can draw it for you.
