still breaking in the new clutch with the getrag 265 tranny.. pulls nice.. however, here's the sad part.. i suspect a warped pressure plate or something faulty about it over the years of abuse.. this is the centerforce dual friction pressure plate. i get this funny gear-like noise.. i thought it was the t/o bearing, but i loosened the cable and the noise is still there..i used a new t/o bearing and a new pilot bearing.. but for now, i'm living with the noise till i try another pressure plate.. i thought it was the tranny that made the same noise of the m46, so i swapped it ut with a spare getrag.. no difference.. everything points at the pressure plate unfortunately.. unless someone else has an idea.. but i can't wait to experiment a little this summer.. i want to do like 20 degree advance, 13-15 psi, racing gas ppossibly.. we'll see.. nothings final yet.. i just want more 1/4 mile experience..

Sweet deal, glad to hear you're enjoying it. So how much better is it than an M46? Huh? Convince me that it's time to do my swap! But I'm still like $500 bucks out before I have all the stuff (clutch/adapter/driveshaft).

i'd suggest a new pressure plate while you are at it.. my centerforce is making funning noises (like bearing noise in the tranny, but it's not the tranny).. i still drive it.. i beat it.. cept it needs a fan relay now and less timing (15 degree timing and 13 psi doesn't do well in 90+ weather)..

I'm way too broke to get a new pressure plate while I'm at it..... It'd be cool to get a 100% over stock one, but they're really expensive. Thanks for the tip though, I'll see what works out. My clutch is already slipping in 4th at 10psi...... I want 20psi dammit!!! My clutch/tranny is the ONLY thing stopping me!
