rebuilding 740 turbo engine

I am starting building my 740 and I want to put a mitT04 turbo on it, I want to check my local Junk yard but I want to know witch Cars carry this Turbo system, also should I need a different intercooler and or radiator, I am also buying this spare engine to start putting a new engine together with my buddies help. I just want to buy the right stuff and do it once. Pistons, Cams, etc.

I got a td04 off a 95 850,yard price was $90 I think.

so did that make more power, cuz i was thinking to get one out of a diesel Truck and set it up some how, but I dont know that is possible and if it is what engine components should I need.

It come's on faster then the stock t3, but give's up sooner! Were do you want to run? down low? or top end??;-)

sounds like your getting a bit mixed up.

mitT04, diesel truck. sounds like you think mitsubishi TD04's come on diesel trucks which is doubtfull, more likely a garrett T04 is what your thinking of. but one of those won't fit the standard manifold.

the TD04 is pretty small and has a small exhaust section so would never really be seen on a big'ish truck.

while the T04 is the size above the T3 and much more truck like
