my roommate just bought a '76 242 from nick (6kyellowline) and today we started getting it ready for paint. hooray rattlecans!

sanding all by block? wawaweewa get an orbital and a load of pads and finish with a block..will make life soo much easier
 
just gonna take it down to mostly factory paint and then rattlecan it. figure it should be rough enough to hold okay.

i would do a primer for sure going over that red since your going to white, geta white primer and it will help lock in the red so it doesnt keep popping threw making you use alot more paint.
 
paint stripper from a hardware store. goes on like jelly with a brush and takes paint of in like 20 min using a razor blade. Lot easier than sanding.
