i am guessing that 7 series ppl know these:

from back to front:
original
copy - straight out of the mold with no clean-up yet
copy - alittle bit of cleanup and some satin black rattle can paint
and the 3 piece mold:

i think that the copies came out pretty damn nice! there are a couple of small imperfections. but compared to the other fiberglass stuff i've seen they are pretty good. alittle primer and some light sanding and thos imperfections will be gone.
more pix of them here:

hmmm i could possibly be persuaded to sell them.
if you think you want a set now, wait until you see what i've got planned for CarbonFiber :badboy:
they fit the earlier 7 series cars IIRC - another TB member sent me these to copy for him

I am guessing if you did about 10 you could sell all of them.
I was wondering what to do with the front end of my 745 and those look awsome!

I would definately be interested in a pair. Seriously.

If someone's interested I can probably borrow an OEM installation sheet of those and scan!
PS. I think that using those front end Add-On (their OEM name :) ) without the sides and rear the car looks quite bad because it looks so low in the front bot not on the rest of the car DS.

Yeah....I want a set too.
any one have any of the other pieces? i know they are hard to come by...
JE - would love to see the installation sheet for these, it will give me some idea of how/where they mount since i don't have a 7series to look at.

They just mount to the lower left and right corners on the fron valence.
I have a full airflow kit unmounted you could copy...just kidding [its going on the other car this week].
what other bits are you looking to copy?

god , those molds look well dodgy- and i cant see those split lines ever coming out !
joke!
never ever seen them on a car in the uk , quite simple and make them look good aswell
send me a set over and *cough* ill trial fit them for you
i know i know...
part lines suck! this is my first multipiece mold. they actually are pretty complicated. i picked that spot 'cause that is a smallish area and it's pretty much flat on each side.
how do you do your multipiece molds? i am just starting - this is my 2nd or so project BTW.
edit: about the mold - i don't plan on making more then a couple out of them, and on top of that there are alot of ppl on here that say 'i want one' but when the time comes to pay for them... choke.

i know exactly what you mean , when people say i want , then never hear from them again!
half a golf ball or half a ping pong ball make excellent mold locators for the flanges . I make my flanges out of flat sheet grp or ally and use plasticine to stick em to it , or just mold some plasticine for the locator seems to work ok . Use plenty of plasticene/wax in the split line and itll almost disappear . of course if you plasticine a good split line on the flange in the first place it can be almost unnoticeable .
I think if you set a price + shipping and take money before shipping/making them you might sell quite a few , youll only get serious offers that way - i know thats how i had to start working because of the so called " i wanters" who rent space in my head !

I have no idea how much you would ask for a pair of those, I don't know how much time and supplies you have into them. If they were reasonably priced, I think quite a few people would really buy them, myself included. No choke.

I am for sure willing to fork out the moeny to buy a pair. I had already e-mailed a few sites about buying them, and was planning on buying them as soon as I get my first paycheck from work (2-3 weeks or so) Assuming the price is reasonable, I would definitely be down to buy a pair. So far I have only found two people who can get them, one german company, and mike can order them via the part number.

why didn't you buy it? at least buy it and sell the kit to us! j/k
but seriously those look SICK espically with the E-codes you should defenitly sell them. if i had a 740 i would defenitly buy those for a resonable price.
well i will sell some, but let's see what the 'customer' has to say before i take on any orders.
ok?

Chesh, the car looks very good like that, much better than the riced stuff on it now, probly be faster as well, i mean, your current kit is probly slowing you down loads...ok it looks good (and the ricers all look at you), but i prefer that much more....

We need some locally. How about other body kit parts?. Are you still working out a price? I never did see a price for them yet.
today hopefully i will be sending the originals and a pair of copies back. we'll see soon enough ;) BTW weather here has been CRAP! ever try doing fiberglass when it's pouring one minute and 10 later is over 105*? it sucks
