The grill is the original chrome rim and I inserted a 7 series grill. I'll probably paint the rim to match the body color whenever I finally paint it. The headlight buckets are from an old 240. The small lights are Ford or GM driving lights. They are mostly for looks till I find something better. The black headlight doors are made of pvc sheet. It heats and bends, cuts and glues just like pvc pipe. For the time and effort envolved I could have bought euro lights, but I like the way these look. The directionals are from a Taurus and some other car in the junk yard. I still need to finish the clear covers to give em the look of some newer cars.

Thanks, it I still have a lot finish before I paint it. I tucked in the rear bumper and need to finish the ends. The front one gets pulled in a couple of inches and the ends fitted more flush. I may make up some splitters for the air dam 740 style. And, add a sunroof. Been going for the, "what if they still made them, updated look". Even thought of jackin it up a bit for the XC look, but I'll keep the current stance. I've been saying that I'm going to paint it this year, for the last two years. There is always somthing more pressing to do. Touch up wife's car, reroof the porch, make a few bmw bike rallies. Dang, how did that last one get in there?

I like your headlamp set-up. Did you use the OEM Volvo Truck bezels, or is that custom?

Also, how do the Sumitomos ride?

The bezels are custom made from pvc sheet. The sumitomos ride ok. I haven't put a lot of miles on them, but so far I am pleased with thier performance. I went with the 65 sidewall for a better ride and they fill the wheel wells. I'm too frugal for the bling rims. This was suppose to be a low cost driveable progect. Very relieable and not too much of a cash blackhole. The things wanted, not the things needed drives up the opperating costs and the fun factor.
