Boston Chapter Annual Cookout, Parts Swap, and Car Show

August 21 - starts at 10 a.m.

Our traditional summer get-together. We have a new venue this year - 263 Topsfield Rd. in Ipswich.

Directions-
From the south:

Take Route 95 North to Exit 50. (Rte 1)
Follow Route 1 North. Go past the Topsfield Fairgrounds, and then through the lights at the intersection of Rt 1 and Rt 97. At the next set of lights turn right onto Ipswich Road ( as you enter Ipswich the road changes to Topsfield road ). We are about three miles down on your left. If you come to Turner Hill Golf Resort you have gone about a half mile too far. Our house is beige and set back from the road on top of a large hill. We share a driveway with a yellow house which is right on the road.

From the North:

Take Route 95 south to exit 54, (Rte 133 )

Follow Route 133 South/East toward Rowley. At the intersection of Route 1 turn right onto Route 1 South. Follow for about four miles. If you come to the intersection of Route 97, you have gone about a half mile too far. Turn left onto* Ipswich Road ( as you enter Ipswich the road changes to Topsfield road ). We are about three miles down on your left. If you come to Turner Hill Golf Resort you have gone about a half mile too far. Our house is beige and set back from the road on top of a large hill. We share a driveway with a yellow house which is right on the road.

I think I know exactly where that is...and only 20 minutes from my parent's house in Newbury...might be in DC that weekend though...arrghhhhh!!!! Will know soon.

Mike, thanks for the DC area update...looks like my plans for DC fell through though (dropped the ball and didn't act on a flight). Soooo, will be in the Boston area that weekend and probably can hit the Ipswich thing.

Hey Eric, am I on the list? I know I didn't really tell you for sure one way or another. Do you think you'll be able to make the call on the weather by tonight? Because it's not looking too good for Saturday, and I need to figure out which day I am going to work this weekend.

Nice Cullen welcome back to NE! Mine will be dirty too...unless I get up mad early to wash the beast...hope to see you all tomorrow as I can't make it on Sunday. Maybe I'll throw in a Polaris rim in the trunk as well :twisted:

Guys-
Sorry for the late announcement, but yes, the meet will be postponed until Sunday. Hope you can all still make it. And there isn't a guest list or anything; I just wanted to make sure I had a rough count. Looks like around 30 people.

Yeah probably for the best as the weather isn't looking too hot...damn I was woken up by a massive crack of thunder and checked back here. I might be able to make it for Sunday though...looks like a much better day.
