Meet me at the Rock this Sunday, March 2. They open at 10:00, I would think 12:00 would be a good time to get there.
Carshow, burnout contest, and assaults on the 1/4 all day.

Guys I'm tired of being the only big V there, the quaint little Volvo side show ("Oh its a 4 cylinder?!, Volvos German right?, My aunts got a Vovoh"). :roll:

Do you own a Volvo, is it remotely fast, curious as to what it will do in the 1/4? Show the f... up!

No seriously I'm going to try my very best to be there, weather permitting. I haven't ever managed to meet up with a Tbrick member, so it would be nice to catch up with you...or for you to catch up to me.

Hopefully I can get somebody to film... If I break the bastard I want to relive the moment!

MAYBE we'll have some other support if some 'ahem' other members would step up 'ahem' I know there are more than a few North Cackalackians who seem to disappear everytime something like this comes up...

Fellas,
I wish I had known earlier. I commeted to the State Maryland game on Sunday after church. If something changes I will try to make it. I wold love to see what my Vozilla could do in the 1/4. I turn the 1/8 in the low 8's at around 83-85 mph. and that is when it is just getting started. I also just picked up a 89 780 (with a fresh engine and turbo 25K) and I would like to see what that would do.
We need to set something up in mid week and go to a local track on test and tune night (usually Wed.) and see what we can do. Looking everyone's city it looks like Peidmont drag strip would be the best place.

Yea man, I bet they'll still hold it. I'll be there as long as there is a chance of it being open. Hell Rockingham will let you run 11s without a rollcage...ask me why.
