I realize I'm using an antiquated browser on an antiquated OS (Netscape 4.7, Win98) But every time I browse the forums there's these pictures (like the guy with his Volvo next to the SR71 blackbird) that cover the next two or three posts. It's annoying because I've seen that picture before and would really like to read what others are saying in the forum. Is there a way for me to fix this other than updating my software?

Same problem. I already downloaded Netscape 6 to replace my v4.77, but it wouldn't install and I gave up after that. I just copy and paste the text to someplace where I can read it.

Most boards offer a choice to hide signatures from other people, but not this one. I've noticed that a sig with a picture only overlaps if there is text below the picture in the sig. In other words not all sig pics overhang text on my browser, but ALL images posted with the img tag overlap anything below it (text or other pictures).

A newer browser is about the only option.

I'm sorry Bob, would you like me to remove it?

Happens to me using Netscape. Doesn't using Internet Explorer so I usually use IE when browsing TurboBricks...

Well, I'm not out to change anyone else's posting style, just trying to find a workaround. For some reason the little picture that towerymt uses looks just fine on my browser. I suppose I could use IE to browse this forum.

If you want to remove it, that's fine but I don't want you to change your style just because I'm using ancient software.

Ok, it stays untill monday/tuesday when the car comes back a different color. I've never had a problem using IE

its the way netscape requires table dimensions, im sure someone has hacked it and changed it around to show up correctly (i fixed the issue where it would stretch the tables out the the right of the image)

might want to look at http://www.phpbbhacks.com and see if you find something relevant
