MSW wheel center caps

What was the original color of the MSW writing on this cap, I am restoring a set and want to be original.

my wheels came with these, they are old and dirty. which leads me to believe they are original.

i tried to bit on a set of BBS's but failed... wanted them real bad for my RA's

does it matter that my wheels are gold??

i think black would look good on the gold wheels as my gold MSW's have the factory black markings on the caps.
