Buy a new 850R lower bumper cover and a new 960 bumper cover. Used parts are gross.

Cut the 960 bumper like this:

Cut notches for the 850R's snaps like this:

Cut the lip off the inside of the 850R bumper so just the tabs protrude out like this:

Cut the back off like this:

Thoroughly clean everything and scuff with this stuff, everywhere there will be adhesive:

It'll look like this:

And this:

Use this glue:

And stick them together like this:

Clamp the edges like this:

Use a flexible bumper filler to blend the corners. Clean thoroughly and scuff before beginning.

Use a little bit of filler around the edge

Then sand and smooth until you're happy, and either paint it yourself or pay someone else to.

Dealer, remarkably! The R bumper was around 400$ and the 960 bumper was only 250$. That was full dealer price, can probably had for less if you shop around. The good thing is that they're still around, so you don't have to worry about them not getting made.

$650 is more than most cars are worth on here... Trend setting.

Price is fair, I paid $400 for my new front bumper on my t-5R, plus paint.

Magnificent work.

Might keep the R bumper I've got now and put it to other uses :grrr:

zomg, that is cheap.. 250$.... maybe I'll buy a new, rather than paying excessivly for getting my scruffed up bumper (with bad chrome) fixed.
