Is it / Are they in a 200, 700, 900 and what did you do to fit them?

In my last 240, I was running an aftermarket seat on the drivers side. In that instance, I used right angle steel to make adapters that bolted the seat to the OE sliders. Will I end up needing to do that again?

I had a Sparco EVO L in my last 240. I used BNE mounts but due to the EVO L being wider than the standard EVO, I had to use pieces of flat steel to fit the mounts to the sliders. BNE may have re-engineered his mounts since then so one won't need to fab anything.

I've got them in my 240 (evo 2)...they seem huge. But they are super comfy!!! Using BNE mounts also

OK. Thanx!

So far it looks like I can get away with using BNE stuff if I got with non-reclining seats that have side mount capability.. But I don't want to do that. That means Sparco sliders (or maybe not) and some fabbing.

No big deal since I've done it once already.

I have original Sparco Torinos (not the wider Torino 2) in my 244. I used some flat steel to adapt them to the factory sliders. Originally, I was going to use Sparco universal sliders, and I even took one out of the package to mock up, but that would have been more work for no gain. The seats are too wide for me to run the hand brake/seatbelt cover. BNE had a prototype to bolt bottom mount Sparcos to Volvo sliders that I think he sells but isn't on his site. That is the route I'd go if I had to do it again, and I might just do it to clean up my install a little.

:omg:

These will be going in a 700. Think I would have the same fitment issue?

Well, I better just get out there and measure. ;-)

I have three, all on Kaplhenke mounts. I helped design them based on some aftermarket brackets that weren't quite wide enough. We made the base wider and I think made the sides a little taller. They work well, if you install them properly. Mine are all side-mount.

Anyone got pics of Sparco (or others) reclining bottom mount seats in a 700?

it's a 4dr. Is there anything the 244 can't do?

Yes, a 244 can't triforce.
