The New and the Old - S60R & 740

Stopped by the dealer today to pick up a part and snapped a couple pics of my old 740 together with a new S60R. I had to take the S60R for a drive before parking it next to my car for the photo. Wow, that's about all I can say - Wow.

You know..I actually like the 740 better....It just looks so "Classic Volvo" compared the the newer rounded shape...

Looks to be pre-90 front end, with Euro Headlights and side splitters. Mmmmmmmmmmm, euro headlights.

The splitters came from Belgium and the headlights came from both London and Sweden. The headlights have been one of the most difficults mods I've done due to shipping and breakage. But that's another story. I have the trim lists that go under the headlights but I still have to fill the wiper holes and paint them. I'm planning to have the front spoiler with splitters, rear view mirrors and rear euro spoiler all painted in the next few months.
