I've been working on customer cars now for almost a year and I'm always seeing the weirdest Kludge. I decided today that I will start takin' photos of this stuff for LOLz.
I will not post photos that may revel the customer or give away their name, so don't ask.
Today I was installing a rebuilt turbo on a mid 80's 240, as always when i put a car on the rack and its in the air I check out the underside while I'm there. Well i found this.

Its a sneaker keyring! Asked customer about it. Said the exhaust rattled against the body and with this mod no rattle.
Then a 760 turbo shows up on a tow truck. No run condition. find wires under intake fried.

Tuns out the ECU's temp sender has fried against the ground wires. Still not enough to cause no fire at all. I'm talking no spark. So i goto the distributor. Find hall sensor plug on the back of the head mounted distributor dangling. The plug has gorilla glue all over it.
The distributor came out as you can see the distributor has glue all over it.

This kludge did not work.
Until tomorrow.
