I only went to the yard for a shift knob (which I never found) but I came back with a complete set of 262C Bertone seats for $75. They are black and have the typical worn areas wich I can probably dye again. The seats are in really good shape and they were oddly enough in a 242 with tan interior. I love the almost S&M look the Bertone seats have in an all black interior. It's like someone sewed whips on for style. SIT STILL DAMNIT. I even ended up with the bertone grab bars to complete the interior. I also saw a complete 69 164 and got a good idea how to do my 162 project. Oddly there wasn't a Virgo in the yard to be found. I was going to surprise my fiancee by putting some on her 244.
The old seats are pretty much trashed but the vynil front seat covers are decent if anyone wants them. I'm taking the old rear arm rest and I'm going to fashion a front arm rest out of it.
