View Full Version : New shifter.
I found an old Thrustmaster joystick in the shed and made this for a project car I am working on. The car had been nicknamed "Air Force One" because of its history. So this fits.

I thought of using the trigger as a horn button and one of the others as a brake check button.
Any other good ideas?

Oh that's awesome! How did I not think about this?
Trigger should flick high-beams. It'd be sweet if you could make the hat switch work as a seek and volume for your radio...
Edit//if I do this, I'll be using a real F-4 joystick :ninja:
Edit2//but I wouldn't because this is too good of an idea to copy. I'll have to be all hipster and come up with something y'all have never heard of.

Thrustmaster Pro Flight Control System. I guess that stick is/was used in the F4-F16-A10-F14-F18-F177A and the F15. I found another one thats not as old that I forgot I had that came with the split throttle and way more buttons

So now all we are missing is a Rat Fink style where the shifter goes out the sunroof.

Looks rad Jeh. You should have an electric cut-out and have one of the buttons activate that. Or do you have a side exit? I dont remember.
