Awesome wheels. Those and the bigger tires really give the wagon a manlier "truck-like" look. I imagine those would also look awesome on a 145 wagon.

Every time I see one of these wagons with the cloth interior, I'm surprised by its durability. With the exception of slight color fade, that interior looks pristine (although you did get rid of some panels in the back - at least the one covering the gas filler tube)

In the third to last picture, is the chrome roof rack OE? PS- your grille, metal bumpers, and headlight pieces look ten times shinier than those on my '79 262.

Also, is that Dashboard OE? I much prefer that one to the one that came in my volvo, but I always thought that only the 240 models after the refresh got the improved dashboard? (judging by your headlights it looks like you have a pre-1983 model: maybe there were slight differences for Canadian models...)

This color always reminds me of this (http://www.eurotuner.com/featuredvehicles/eurp_1007_1981_volvo_245_dl/index.html) race wagon. You wouldn't think that baby blue can be manly, but this crazy swede proves that it can.

No Volvo content? All I see is a lifted Jeep. Ha just kidding man. Loving the look.

Wash the undercarriage too? Eww.. ontario. So glad we don't "salt" here.. Or at least very little. Nice 245, my friend had the same thing Blue on Blue. Except it was with a flathood and an SU carb. And with the chrome trim, oh my that thing was perdy.

1981 and earlier B21A's got SU's, 1982 and later got the POS Stromberg

Every time I see pics of your rust repairs, they look nicer and nicer. The Car really does sit nicely with those tires.

Love the looks.

I may have a suggestion. Take a paintbrush and tape the metal part that hold the bristles. With your favorite detergent or car shampoo you can clean out your inner doortrim and doorhinges. Nothing uglier than a clean looking car until you open a door...

Anyways I really like your project.
