I'll never understand why people choose to ruin attractive foreign classic cars by putting American V8s and stupid rims on them.

Except apperently he saved the Volvo from going to the junker. Actually he needed 2 122's to fix that one. But the Mustang got chainsawed in half to get ALL of the parts needed. Some of the floors in the 122 are from the mustang to get the trans tunnels to fit and to *repair* the 122.

i've never understood why we mess with crappy old volvos when there are better cars out there..

its all what you (as in the person modding the car) like. if you dont like it, so be it. if you do, awesome.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm fairly certain that a handful of foreign automakers use american v8's in their vehicles from the factory?

What I mean is I don't understand why people want to put engines that were never meant for the car in the car. If you want a V8 then buy a Chrysler Newport or something. For me it ruins the essence of the car to mess with it like that. IMHO

I can understand where you are coming from. But the minute it becomes unacceptable to shoe horn large engine into small car, hot rodding has officially died and that sucks for anyone who turns a wrench on a car as an enthusiast.

Isn't there a build thread for this car on here?

Either way, that would be fun car to rip around town in.
