I think Daniel Stern suggests using yellow duplicolor metalcast paint (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SHW-MC202/).

as long as its transparent paint it would work i think. you dont want to use somthing that restricts light for safty and PO-PO reasons. my taillights are to dark according to local police

If you go quad rounds, only do this to the inner lights and it will look baller.

Yellow lights were used by the allies (especially the french resistance) in ww2 so they could identify their own vehicles. The laws stayed in some Euro countries for decades. France mandated them from 1936 to 1993. SOOOO There HAS to be 240s with factory yellow lights in france. Probably all of them sold domestically.
searched for "phare jaune" which is 'headlight, yellow' in french

You could take off the lenses, and spray the reflectory bit with the yellow, and put them back together. It'd do the same thing, and look less weird than that photoshop.

When I finally get my air dam and fogs installed, I'mma spray my fogs before they go in. I like yellow headlights, but am afraid of getting a slap on the wrist for them, so fog lights I think are a safe alternative.

Step 1: buy 48 pack of miller high life
Step 2: call friend over.
Step 3: split pack in half and drink your share
Step 4: drill hole in each headlamp and hand one to aforementioned friend.
Step 5: let nature take it's course.
Step 6: epoxy hole shut and reinstall lights then stand back with your friend and admire your handiwork.
