But the Foil tape works great, and it gives it that bling look, when I put on the spare new tank I have here I will prob not be reinstalling the tape.

At one time, in the 242, the harness was neatly done and it looked pretty good.

Then I had all these problems, motor and harness moved to this car, yadda yadda.

So yeah, it looks like a mess, but it runs AMAZING. Seriously. Starts right up and goes fast.

4" first bend, reduced to 3.5" on the down and then 3.5" for part of the undercar...aaand after the SLO trip its now getting reduced to 3" all the way out the back for ground clearance.

just use a stock elbow and clamp. I ended up using a 4" generic vband flange and chucked it up in the lathe and machined a bit off the outside lip and I use a stock cummins clamp.

gsellstr

This is what I did as well. I've been running the OBX brand clamps as they're not just a straight flange but they have a sealing lip inside as well. Needed about .010-.020" trimmed of the ID of the exhaust housing for the flange to fit inside. TLAO welded mine in, a local welded the flange onto the 3.5" DP I already had, when I did the swap. Sorry, don't have pic's on hand right now.

If you want, check it out at the autox. I won't have the wagon at Davis, but it will be at the autox, though not on the course...

Yup still working fine, even though it was flux-core welded by someone else at the time. I've got the OBX V-band and that sealing lip is really nice. Just be careful when welding that you don't build up too much heat, mine got a little bit warped in the process, but it is fixed now.

Suggestion regarding the warping flanges...clamp the mating flange to it prior to welding. It allows more heat transfer, less heat buildup, slightly less chance of warping. ;-)

Its an ebay one meant for a 240sx.
I need to tap a hole up top for the overflow still, currently its just routed to the ground. It fits well though and was only like 40 bucks shipped. Looks a ton better than the stock one that is for sure.
