Only 367 km (228 miles)
http://www.blocket.se/kalmar/DYR__NY__Volvo_244_36_7_mil_33021942.htm?ca=18&w=1

120.000 sek (18.800 usd)
Taken off the road 1986-11-04 and stored in a garage ever since.
The original oil and petrol from factory is still in the car.
Only thing that is replaced is the battery.

why would someone do that? buy a new car and never drive it...

Same reason some one buys a Ferrari and DD's it and beats the piss out of it.....because they have lots of money!

Maybe that the husband died or got very ill so he could't drive the car and the wife didn't have a licence and just let the car stay in the garage. That is not very uncommon, but at that low mileage it's very rare
