View Full Version : 244 -81 + 16x9" steelies
Since this is 240bricks, I figured I should get myself a 240. So I got this 244 GL 1981.
It's B23A and M46
I know it's rusty, but its my daily driver so I really don't care.
Here is some pics for you:

it has potential....it'll be much nicer when you get some "real" wider/proper tires on it :)

You gonna run right over there and flare the fenders for him?
I love stretched tyres, so I'm not gonna buy wider tyres
that is just so damn awesome!

cars with stretched tires always look so stupid when they're as high as yours is. front needs to come down 2 inches or so and the back needs to be at least 4 inches lower..
Yes it could be a little lower, but it's a DD, and it still rides sooth on the road and not bouncing all around. But I'm thinking of lowering it at the back, cus it's factory hight at the back.
i would do one inch in the front, maybe 1.5 inches in the rear. my front is slammed on all stock suspension and it rode fine till i put stiffer stuff in the rear(just have to watch out for raised manholes and speedbumps). i think the rear could use a taller sidewall, maybe next time

It's V70/S80 16x6.5" steelies, that have been flipped, then widened on the inside.
Tyres are 215/40

For a DD, I'd leave the front right where it's at, and drop the back 1" or so. 'Spose it's all subjective...

needs so much more low. I dont see the point of stretched tires when you dont need them......
What size tires are those?
Slam it.

It would just require a little extra attention to road conditions, which is never a bad thing.
It's not the actual ride hight that would be a problem, it's the lack of suspension travel on the stock suspension.
