All the polarbears have gone to sleep for the summer, the birds are singing and I got them galaxys back on, with a new set of Pirellis P6000.

The back is fully loaded, so it's a tenytiny-bit lower back than up front.
Just need to clean and vacuum the inside, wash the body and put some wax on it, then it's ready for yet another summer!

I would kill for a set of Galaxys.

I have a set I bought new from the local volvo dealer lying around, but I guess shipping would be quite expensive

Another day has passed, and I've done some more to it.
The red upper tailgates light like the once in the lower part, the fender turnsignals now lights when the car is on (connected to the parking lights) and the whole car has been washed, waxed and the inside is vacuumed. Also I got a new Wunderbaum.

It's a crappy phone-picture. I'll take some better once later this week.

what's a wonderbum?

Thefuzz

It's a tree-shaped air-freshener, available in many diffrent fragrances, strawberry, new-car etc. they are sort-of a part of the Volvo-culture here in Sweden.
A friend of mine once had 160 wunderbaums in his slammed 740 :]

Imagine using it like one of those rappers necklaces and hitting the club. You'd have to fight the girls off, just to get inside!

Hahaha, thank you

I've got one more thing to-do tomorrow, before it's photo worthy.
It needs bumper shine and some paint around the holes where the side-turnsignals are.

Nice pictures, like the colour combo!

I see you have a (I guess original Volvo) engine heater, how long does it take to warm up the engine?

btw, aren't you missing the driver side blinker in the fender?

Thanks!

I do think it's a original Volvo. Depends on how cold it is, but a good 30 min. is well enough for it to start in -30 degrees celcius. ;)

Yes I do, at the time I was taking these photos, I had removed the fenderblinkers to fix some rust and I also wired them up with the parking-lights, so they glow when the car is running.

I actually just got in from hookin' the fenderblinkers with some Diod-lights (prevents the sockel to melt from the heat that the usual 5W generates).

I'll snap a photo of that in ASAP.

hot 745 and galaxies combo :)

Actually it's a 945  but thanks
