So its been a year almost since I started gathering some parts to build a Turbo engine. And its finally getting together and should be in the 242 this summer! Me and my friend (Always pay your friends in beer) have been working on it slowly.

Dood, that's awesome; just roll out of bed and get some wrenching done. Nice work on the engine.

Mu dad dismantled and built most of a cadillac in his room. Didnt have enough room in the garage to protect the car from snow and work on it in there at the same time, but it was too cold outside to work out there. Wheelbarrowed parts back and forth all winter long.

Anyways, motor looks great man! Nice and cleannnnnn :-D

thanks for the comments guys. Its been a long time coming and im finally getting it together. There is nothing better then waking up next to your lady friend and then walking 5 feet to work on a engine.

+lots.

I think it's awesome that you're building your engine in the house.

When we built our house, I wanted to use checkerplate as the floor covering in the study (which has a door leading to the garage), making it ideal for building engines and working on karts with the warmth of ducted heating and convenience of the nearby fridge.

Needless to say, the suggestion we met with some resistance.

I built a Pontiac 455 in my living room. That should state how clean the engine was. Luckily it was a quick process as not to be a problem. Friends liked it.
